Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 2026
01

Overview and scope

1.1 This Cookie Policy (this "Cookie Policy") explains how STEAV uses Cookies on the Sites. It supplements, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy, which describes more broadly how we process Personal Information.

1.2 In summary, we use only Cookies that are strictly necessary for the Sites to function and remain secure. We do not use Cookies to (a) track you; (b) deliver advertising; or (c) measure your activity across other websites.

02

What Cookies are

2.1 A Cookie is a small text file placed on your device to enable a website to function, to remember information, or to operate securely.

2.2 Cookies may be: (a) "session" Cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser; or (b) "persistent" Cookies, which remain for a defined period. They may be set by (i) the website you are visiting ("first-party" Cookies); or (ii) a third-party service used by that website ("third-party" Cookies).

03

Cookies we use

3.1 We use only strictly necessary Cookies — those required for the Sites to load, function, and remain secure. Under applicable EU and UK rules, strictly necessary Cookies do not require your consent, because the Sites cannot operate without them.

3.2 The strictly necessary Cookies we set are:

CookiePurposeTypeDuration
steav_cookie_consentRecords your Cookie choices, including any preference you set for analytics, so that we do not ask you again on every visitStrictly necessary (first-party)6 months
steav_csrfProtects form submissions against cross-site request forgery. Set when you submit the contact formStrictly necessary (first-party)Session

3.3 Should the Cookies we use change, we will update this Cookie Policy and the "Last updated" date set forth above.

04

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

4.1 We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate traffic to the Sites — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive. It is provided by our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., is served from our own domain, and does not set Cookies or any other identifier on your device. We do not use advertising Cookies, we do not create profiles of your activity, and we do not track you across other websites.

4.2 Analytics is not strictly necessary, and we therefore load it only where you have consented. If you have not made a choice, or you selected "Reject non-essential", analytics is not loaded at all. You may withdraw consent at any time from the Cookie settings panel, and analytics stops in the same session.

4.3 We honor Global Privacy Control. Where your browser sends a GPC signal, analytics is not loaded regardless of any preference stored on your device.

4.4 Any further analytics, advertising, or similar technologies that we may introduce would likewise not be strictly necessary. Accordingly, before using them we would: (a) update this Cookie Policy; (b) present a Cookie consent mechanism; and (c) set such Cookies only where you have provided consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

05

Third-party Cookies

5.1 We do not use third-party tracking or advertising Cookies.

06

Managing your Cookies

6.1 When you first visit the Sites we present a Cookie notice, and a "Cookie settings" panel is available from that notice and from this page. The notice explains the Cookies we set and lets you record a preference for analytics technologies should we introduce them. Because the Cookies we currently use are strictly necessary, they are set regardless of that preference, as the Sites require them to operate. You may change or withdraw your preference at any time from the Cookie settings panel; withdrawing it presents the notice again on your next visit.

6.2 You may nonetheless control Cookies through your browser settings, which typically allow you to view, delete, and block Cookies. Blocking strictly necessary Cookies may impair the functioning of the Sites.

6.3 We honor recognized browser-based privacy signals to the extent required by applicable law. Because we do not sell or share Personal Information or use tracking Cookies, a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or "Do Not Track" signal does not alter the information we collect through the Sites.

07

Changes to this Cookie Policy

7.1 We may amend this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date set forth above and, for material changes, provide more prominent notice.

08
