Acceptable Use Policy

1.1 This AUP sets out the rules governing use of the Services and the Sites. It applies to you and to any person who accesses the Services or the Sites through your account or on your behalf.

1.2 This AUP is incorporated by reference into, and supplements, the Customer Agreement. For greater certainty, in the event of any conflict between this AUP and the Customer Agreement with respect to the Services, the Customer Agreement shall control.

2.1 You are responsible for: (a) your use of the Services and the Sites; (b) all content and data you submit to, store in, or transmit through them; and (c) ensuring that your users and any third parties acting on your behalf comply with this AUP.

2.2 You shall use the Services and the Sites lawfully, responsibly, and only for their intended purposes.

You shall not, and shall not permit any other person to, use the Services or the Sites to:

3.1 violate any applicable Law or regulation, or promote or facilitate any unlawful activity;

3.2 infringe, misappropriate, or violate the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person;

3.3 engage in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation, or transmit unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or communications;

3.4 harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person, or process data concerning any individual in violation of applicable data-protection Law;

3.5 interfere with, disrupt, degrade, or impose an unreasonable load on the Services, the Sites, or the networks or systems connected to them; or

3.6 circumvent, disable, or attempt to defeat any security, access-control, usage-limit, or authentication mechanism.

4.1 You shall not submit to, store in, or transmit through the Services or the Sites any content or data that: (a) is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or fraudulent; (b) contains malware, ransomware, or other malicious code; (c) you do not have the necessary rights or lawful basis to provide; or (d) constitutes special categories of personal data or other regulated data for which you have not established a lawful basis and the appropriate agreements with STEAV.

5.1 Because the Services are used to train, evaluate, deploy, and govern artificial-intelligence models, you additionally shall not use the Services to: (a) develop, train, or operate any model or system for any unlawful purpose, or for any use prohibited by applicable AI or sector-specific regulation; (b) generate or disseminate content that is unlawful, or that is intended to deceive or defraud; (c) make fully automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without the human oversight and safeguards required by applicable Law; or (d) defeat, remove, or circumvent the verification, auditing, or safety controls provided by the Services.

5.2 For greater certainty, you remain responsible for your models, your training data, and the outputs and decisions derived from them.

6.1 The Services include federated and multi-participant environments. You shall not: (a) access, derive, or attempt to reconstruct the data, gradients, or model contributions of any other participant, tenant, or customer; (b) submit malicious, poisoned, or deliberately mislabeled contributions, or otherwise attempt to manipulate aggregation, scoring, or consensus; (c) attempt to de-anonymize any individual or re-identify data that has been aggregated, de-identified, or otherwise protected; or (d) interfere with the integrity of the audit log, signed records, or proof systems.

7.1 You shall not: (a) access or attempt to access any account, system, or data without authorization; (b) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or the Sites, except as expressly authorized under our security-reporting policy; (c) introduce malicious code or conduct any denial-of-service or similar attack; or (d) use the Services or the Sites to develop or distribute tools primarily designed for any of the foregoing purposes.

7.2 Suspected vulnerabilities shall be reported as described in our security-reporting policy.

8.1 If you permit your personnel, contractors, or end users to access the Services or the Sites through your account, you are responsible for their compliance with this AUP, and their acts and omissions shall be deemed your own for purposes of this AUP.

9.1 STEAV may investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and may, consistent with the Customer Agreement and applicable Law: (a) suspend or restrict access to the Services or the Sites; (b) remove or disable offending content; or (c) take such other action as it considers appropriate, including cooperating with law-enforcement authorities.

9.2 Where practicable and permitted, STEAV shall seek to provide notice before acting under Section 9.1; notwithstanding the foregoing, STEAV may act without prior notice where it reasonably believes that doing so is necessary to prevent harm, protect the Services or other participants, or comply with Law.

10.1 To report a suspected violation of this AUP, or misuse of the Services or the Sites, please contact support@steav.io. Suspected security vulnerabilities shall be reported as described in our security-reporting policy.

11.1 STEAV may amend this AUP from time to time. When it does, STEAV shall revise the "Last updated" date set forth above and, for material changes, provide notice as required under the Customer Agreement or by applicable Law. Your continued use of the Services or the Sites following the effective date of any revised AUP constitutes your acceptance of it, to the extent permitted by applicable Law.

In this AUP, the following capitalized terms have the meanings set out below, and other capitalized terms have the meanings given to them where they first appear:

13.1 "AUP" means this Acceptable Use Policy, as amended from time to time in accordance with Section 11.

13.2 "Customer Agreement" means the written agreement between you (or your organization) and STEAV governing your access to and use of the Services.

13.3 "Services" means the CID platform and related services provided by STEAV.

13.4 "Sites" means the websites located at steav.io and any associated subdomains operated by STEAV.

13.5 "STEAV," "we," "us," or "our" means STEAV Inc. and its affiliates.

13.6 "You" or "your" means any person or entity that accesses or uses the Services or the Sites, including through your account or on your behalf.
